A New Year

My favorite month has arrived again and somehow every year when the fog of January lifts I can finally start to dream again. I don't know what it is! I cannot get into the "new year" until February 1st. Maybe it's a holiday hangover or the lack of sunshine but January leaves me feeling frozen. Literally cold but also just frozen without a direction and then February hits and I suddenly know exactly what I want to do. Every year, without fail. It's amazing.

I have been trying to figure out exactly how I wanted to run the Miniature business for the past few months. Shop updates just aren't an easy task these days with two preschoolers running around, a senior and a second grader. I try, but this season in our lives just doesn't give me the consistent time for it. Custom orders are very hard and if you've ever taken then as an artist, you'll understand why. I just can't do them.

With the current tariff rates and how hard it has been to get some of my stock replenished, plus my constant moodiness and need to work on whatever project the wind blows me to next, I have decided to do a monthly miniature project that way I am working on a set number of something at once, a larger quarterly project, and then also the Patreon (which I'm excited about) and I will also be adding digital items to the shop to.

I will be getting that all added here to the web shop this weekend, adding more details and taking orders for March. Stay tuned xx
